"Best chair mat ever! Also a great company to deal with; I called to ask a few questions and my call was promptly answered and I was fully satisfied with the information about the different products available before I purchased it. My chair glides across it like ice and it looks so BEAUTIFUL! I will tell everyone I know to stop wasting money on plastic mats that never last! Thank you VITRAZZA for making a great product."
"I have carpet in my home office. Low pile, but I have an upgraded carpet pad that makes it seem a bit fluffier. I’ve used other mats with heavy cardboard, barber mats, even stall mats (for farms) and this mat is fantastic. I’ve repurposed everything else, I’ve finally found the perfect piece. Not only is it truly the best out there, it also makes my office look professional and polished. Shipping was fast, product was extremely well packaged, and with an extra pair of hands was easy to move and manage. I could’ve moved it myself, but the help made a world of difference for placement."
"I purchased 2 of these glass mats, and I am so glad I did. I didn't realize how much difference these glass mats would make in the use of the chairs. One chair was on a plastic mat, and one chair just on the carpet. These glass mats both sit much firmer on the floor now which changes how the chairs fit me. I also purchased the chair rollers, and feel more secure in how the chairs move on the glass mats."
"I was very skeptical to order a glass mat only because I was uncertain on it's durability. I must say, not only does this look great in my office, it also improved my office space functionalty 100%. Much easier to manage an office chair. Even though I did not purchase the wheels for chair from them, I had similar with my gaming chair. Highly recommend getting them if you have standard hard plactics wheels with rubber tread. I'll definalte be ordering more from Vitrazza"
"Ordered this item after living with the plastic office mats from Staples for years. Very high quality and so far, no issues at all...Make sure you measure the space properly and don't order a unit based on price alone."
"The contact representative for Vitrazza was most helpful and went out of her way to answer all of our questions. The ordering process was straight-forward and easy. The glass chair mat shipped on-time and arrived as promised. The chair mat was packaged very well and the directions for use were flawless. The glass chair-mat is a great product."
"the glass was very well packed and arrived in good condition. I found the wheels on our office chairs rolled very easily on the glass; therefore, I did not purchase the Vitrazza rollers partly because I thought they were very expensive. Before buying their rollers I recommend one tries out their rollers first."
"Love this product!!! Great looking. Solid high quality construction. Great value."
"I received the mat and I like it very much how ever it is not large enough and the wheels of my chair fall off the edge! Is it possable to replace it with a larger size? 4' x 4'"
"After an email including a picture of the broken piece I used I got a “shipping address” clarification, I got an email indicating the replacement’s shipping, shipping and delivery included. Next, a few days later, I received the replacement. Simple as that."
Why it matters
Plastic mats wear out fast. Glass Office Chair Mats by Vitrazza are built to last, glide smoothly, protect your floors, and look beautiful year after year.
The Prima Collection features 8 best-selling square and rectangle designs, making it an easy starting point for many workspaces. It combines proven sizes with premium materials, including tempered safety glass, polished edges, and long-term durability that outperforms worn-out plastic mats.
The right size depends on your desk layout and how much movement you need while seated. Smaller sizes work well for compact workstations, while larger mats are better for wider desks or users who move frequently throughout the day. Many customers choose a size that supports the full range of chair movement at their desk.
Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are offered in two glass clarity options: Chiaro and Luminoso. Chiaro is the value option, made with clear tempered safety glass that has a subtle green undertone and shows best on medium to dark colored floors. Luminoso is the brighter option, made with low-iron, optically clear glass with no green undertone, and is especially beautiful on light-colored floors.
Yes, Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are designed to be a long-term solution. While the upfront cost is higher than plastic, they help eliminate frequent replacement and maintain a professional appearance for years. Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are also backed by a transferable lifetime warranty, making them a strong long-term investment.
Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are made from superior 1/4" thick U.S. certified tempered safety glass, engineered for strength and tested to support over 1,000 lbs. They resist cracking, denting, and wear, unlike plastic mats, and are finished with furniture-quality polished edges, a mini-bevel, and Invisible Shield Pro 15 coating to resist fine scratches.
Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are designed for durability in everyday use. The tempered safety glass is built for strength, and Invisible Shield Pro 15 coating helps resist fine scratches. Unlike plastic mats, they do not dent, curl, or degrade over time.
Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are designed for both carpet and hard floors, not just one surface type. Each Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat includes the Stabil-a-dot™ Bumper System to help keep the mat firmly in place, with options for hard surfaces, carpets, and thick carpets.
Vitrazza Glass Office Chair Mats create a firm, smooth rolling surface that allows office chairs to move more easily without sinking or catching like they do on carpet or worn-out plastic mats. This smoother movement supports more natural repositioning throughout the day.
A pilot ergonomic study found that using a Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat reduced awkward postures that cause strain and pain by up to 93% compared to rolling directly on carpet, while also increasing healthy “mini-movement” throughout the workday.
Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are easy to clean and simple to care for. The non-porous glass surface resists staining and can be wiped clean with a standard glass cleaner. The Vitrazza Care Pack includes handling and cleaning tips, and the glass surface is designed to maintain its clear, polished look over time. Unlike plastic mats, Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats do not trap dirt, discolor, or show wear over time.
Yes, Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats are backed by a transferable lifetime warranty and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, providing long-term confidence in durability and performance.
Vitrazza Glass Chair Mats combine superior tempered safety glass, furniture-quality polished edges, four 3" radius corners, a mini-bevel, and a choice of Chiaro or Luminoso glass clarity. Together, these details create the beautiful, refined look Vitrazza is known for.
The main advantages of a Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat are long-term durability, smooth chair movement, a beautiful clear appearance, and resistance to the cracking, curling, and wear common with plastic mats. The main tradeoff is a higher upfront cost, though many buyers see value in a longer-lasting solution backed by a transferable lifetime warranty.
